The Journey Begins at Tyler Junior College

Yes, it is surreal to finally realize that after 4 years of waiting to go to school, after long hours of work, prayer, research, emails, phone calls, concerts and conversations; God has enabled me to go to school in Tyler, Texas. I am currently studying at Tyler Junior College and enrolled in the Graphics Design and Photography program.

I have been in class for about 2 days now and just about finished with my first week of College. I have had the opportunity to make some friends from my class. Still needing to meet more people but for now, I can officially say I have some college friends aside from my Mercy Ships friends that attend school here on campus. I have met friends such as Stephen Tetteh from food services department, John Claude from agriculture department and Shane Hilton former academy student. It has been super fantastic to get to meet familiar faces and know that you are not alone on the campus.

God is incredible and I am extremely excited to see all that He is going to teach through my college experience. Please do keep me in your prayers for God to continue to guide me in the direction he wants me to go. Blessings to you all!

Passion Called to Duty

There is a saying, “Determination is the Key to success.” I believe determination and passion go hand in hand. If you can set your eyes on the passion God has planted in your heart, He will enable you to succeed. My passion is to serve Christ through the skills of Graphic Design. My goal is to come alongside thousands of starving and suffering people in Africa by supporting organizations through mediums of media and communications. How will this benefit the poor and needy? We are currently in a generation which significantly depends on television, internet and various types of media. Using skills acquired from University, I will be able to create state-of-the-art media productions to bring light to the needs in Africa.

My name is Enoch Yeboah and I am from the nation of Ghana. I have been a missionary during my teenage years and early twenties. I have witnessed the severe needs of war torn countries like Liberia and Sierra Leone. At the age of twelve, my parents felt a calling upon their hearts to join a non-governmental organization (NGO) called Mercy Ships, which operates hospital ships to give free medical care to the poor and needy who can’t afford hospitals. Our entire family of seven travelled two countries to join the M/V Anastasis; it became our home for six years. In 2007 we moved onboard the M/V Africa Mercy where we are currently serving. My parents, being missionaries, had no means of income to support the children to attend colleges or universities, but God has always been faithful. God allowed all my siblings to attend colleges and universities all across the globe and now it is my turn.

My brother-in-law, George Tetteh, is the founder of an NGO called Green Living Ghana. The organization is dedicated to addressing issues of poverty in Ghana. They build free beautiful homes for the poor through the use of natural resources such as clay, stone and wood. I plan to use my skills and talents to support NGOs like Mercy Ships and Green Living Ghana. Eventually, I hope to start my own organization to support existing NGOs through media and publications. My desire is study Digital Media Arts or Graphic Design in the United States so that my degree would be recognized worldwide. In order to receive my student’s VISA or acceptance from the University, I need to provide proof of sufficient funds for my tuition, housing and living costs to an estimation of $30,000 USD per year. If you are interested in helping me reach my goal, please contact me via email or phone: triumphant.entry@gmail.com; +1 954-538-6110.

May God richly reward you for sowing into my life and His work.

Thank you and God bless!

New Year with New wonders

It is yet another beautiful Year which God has created. With new targets and dreams, we pursue the year with hopes of success and many opportunities. The year of 2011 is one of a focus in getting to College. It is also a reminder to put all trust in God, because only in help will my help come from.
When one thinks of the blessings of God, it is easier to concentrate on profound memories of what we have accomplished over the past years and of all the success we have accumulated. How often do we thank God for allowing as to be tested and trialed in various levels. In the book of James we are encouraged to consider it all pure joy when we face various kinds of trails (James 1:2)... It is evident to acknowledge joy when everything is going well... but how can we consider ourselves blessed to go through fire of test. Well it is written that "Blessed is the man who endure through temptations..." 2 Tim 2:10 quotes;
"Therefore I endure everything for the sake of the elect, that they too may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus, with eternal glory."

This is the year of success, This is the year of new begins, when the old becomes new. The fighting becomes loving, the hungry become fed, the hurt become healed and the hopeless become hope filled. The is a year of new beginnings our faith and trust in the Lord will help us to believe and depend of God to open new doors of opportunities in our lives. It is written, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything with prayer and partition, with thanksgiving present your requests to God,"Philippians 4:6.Here is the part where we are instruct or encouraged, however way you want to look at it, to be thankful in all situations and to go to God thanking him for what we are going through and recognizing that He is beside us all the way through. God knows we are people of panic, we are people of little faith and sometimes fall short of our faith in him. He instructs us not to panic or be anxious but rather remember that He never left our side and will never leave our side. Try to picture this; If God is everywhere, and in everything, and how things can not survive without him... how can He be away from us?! It's almost like someone saying to his friend, "you have blood in your body, I don't." The example is to show that we can not survive without blood in our system, as it is essential for survival in our physical self; as Christ is essential to all creation. He is not there... there is no existence of creation. If we have no blood we are no longer living.

May we be encouraged and recognize that although we have heard that Christ came to world and die for us the question I may ask is, who is the world? The 'world' is YOU! He specifically came and died for you so that you might be saved from the destruction. He came without a guarantee that you would accept Him, but He did anyway so that you would have the opportunity to come to him and accept His tremendous love for you.

I pray that your year be filled of exciting positive results and that even when we go through trials and tribulations that we are reminded that Christ is the blood of our system, and that He is always with us.

Be Blessed

Living in Appelsbosch

Appelsbosch, hmm, how to describe it: It is a very nicely spaced out college campus with a nice gym and nice amphitheater a tennis court, a football pitch, school classrooms and a magnificent view from the mountains. When the whether greets you in the morning, you just feel so refreshed with the cold breeze refrigerating your high heated stressed face. Oh the smell, the smell of fresh grass, sunflower petals, water and of pure a rejuvenating energy, which exasperates the depressing spirit of boredom. I'm I in love with this place?! Nay, I am in infatuated by the love and care Christ provides for those who serve him. Who is Christ to me?! He is my everyday, my every breath, my meaning of existence. He makes me lie down in green pastures, He restores my souls, He directs me in the path of righteousness. What more could I ask for.

When you hit that stage, that very stage of exhaustion, retreating, frustration and desperation, please do not discredit God's love, care and power to do any thing.

Be blessed!

Full Sail University

God is Incredible, He had blessed me in tremendous ways. I had my fund raising concert about a week ago. And I just remember how stress out I was about getting all the little details in place and just trying to find out who would play in the band. God was just in every step and I am grateful for all has done and continue to do. The Light concert lasted for a duration of one hour. The crowd was estimated to able 150+ people. The amount raised was $4,710. May God richly multiply the amount and he has, and continues to do so. I need a total of $54,840 estimated. So I still have $50,000 more to go before 12th June. So dear readers please do spread the news to friends and families that might be willing to assist me.
God bless you as you stand beside me in this journey of fulfillment. Enoch
